Why was my purchase not approved by Tabby?
Tabby does not approve 100% of all orders as we are committed to supporting responsible shopping habits. We understand that it can be frustrating to be declined for purchase after being approved in the past. Tabby uses different factors to determine whether orders are approved and your spending limit may vary based on the store where you are shopping. Our Customer Service team is not able to change the automated outcome of the approval decision.
How can I increase my chances of getting approved?
• A good payment history with Tabby can improve your chances of being approved for more purchases as well as how long you've been using Tabby to shop.
• If you have negative balances on unpaid purchases, it might help to pay them off to possibly increase your approval chances.
• The total amount in the shopping cart may be too high, so try to remove an item(s) and try again.
• Make sure you have only one Tabby account created.
Every time you use Tabby we are making a new decision. If your purchase was declined previously that does not mean that your future purchases will continue to do so. You can always try paying with Tabby again.
What's my credit limit and how much can I spend with Tabby?
There is no set limit for how many purchases you can place using Tabby. However, the approval decision when shopping with Tabby can depend on the following:
• Your payment history with Tabby
• Your remaining balance and unpaid orders with Tabby
• The purchase amount of your shopping basket
• Other factors to determine approvals which we’re unable to reveal due to security reasons
Why my balance is locked?
You may be not able to shop more with Tabby for any one of the following reasons:
1. If you have made your first purchase with Tabby, and still haven't paid for it. As soon as you have made payment for your first purchase, you will be able to unlock your credit limit with Tabby and you'll be able to make additional purchases using this limit.
2. If you already have a credit limit, but it is not sufficient to cover your new purchase. You may want to try making a smaller purchase.
3. If you have overdue payments, you will not be able to spend more until you have paid for them.
I want to cancel my order. What do I do?
If you would like to return or cancel your order, please contact the store where you made your purchase directly. Your payment, if any, will still go through unless the store informs us otherwise.
To note, any payments made to tabby will be directly refunded to your card once the store accepts your return.
I don’t recognize the charge or transaction attempt, what should I do?
If you come across an email or notice a charge or a transaction attempt associated with your Tabby account or card, that you don't recognize, please report the matter to us.
Before reporting a charge as unauthorized, please take the following steps to ensure it is indeed unauthorized:
• Verify that you are the only person in your household who has used your account for shopping.
• Confirm that you did not unintentionally select Tabby as a payment option during checkout on a store's website.
• Check your emails for any order confirmation or messages from Tabby around the date of the purchase.
• Consider whether it could be a charge for a previous order that was billed separately (if applicable).
• Determine if it might be a temporary authorization hold for a pending purchase (if applicable).
If after considering these factors you still do not recognize the Tabby purchase, you may be a victim of identity theft, hence please report it directly to us through the app or by contacting our customer service.
How do I make a return?
All refunds will be issued according to the store’s policy for returns and cancellations. Once the store has registered your return or cancellation with Tabby, your refund will be processed.
If you receive the refund in a form of credit at the store, Tabby will continue to bill you for upcoming payments.
How can I get a refund for a cancelled order?
Please contact the store you bought your items from to request a return or refund. They will let you know if a return is possible and will inform you of the refund amount, based on their own return policy.
After your store processes your return, your refund will be reflected in your tabby account.
- If you haven't paid for the order yet, we will simply deduct the amount of the returned items from any upcoming payments you may have.
- If you have already paid for the returned items, your payment will be refunded to the card you had previously used. Depending on your bank, it may take up to 20 days for the funds to appear on your card.
How and when will I receive my refund?
Refunds are made according to the store's return and cancellation policy. The amounts are processed as soon as the store registers the request for return or cancellation and Tabby begins the process of returning the funds to you.
Here's what you can expect from the recovery process with Tabby:
In case the refund amount is less than the remaining amounts, the remaining amounts will be adjusted accordingly.
In case that the refund amount is greater than the remaining amounts, the remaining payments will be canceled and the remaining amount will be refunded accordingly.
How long does a refund take?
In the KSA, the amount is returned to the card used for the payment process. This will show up on your balance within 2 – 5 days, but could take longer depending on your bank.
