We’re committed to more sustainable practices and have been using TENCEL™ Modal in our collections since 2021. To give you greater transparency of your product journey, we’re in the process of having all our old and new products certified, so you can be sure it's made from TENCEL™ Modal fibres.
WHAT IS TENCEL™ MODAL?
TENCEL™ Modal fibres are made from renewable beech wood, sourced from sustainable forests, making it compostable and biodegradable.
The STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX™ certification confirms that TENCEL™ Modal fibres have been tested for numerous regulated and non-regulated harmful substances and are harmless to human health.

TENCEL™ Modal fibres are mainly manufactured from the renewable raw material beech wood, sourced from sustainable forests in Austria and neighbouring countries.
TENCEL™ standard Modal fibres are biodegradable and compostable under industrial, home, soil, freshwater and marine conditions, thus they can fully revert back to nature.
Exhibiting high flexibility, TENCEL™ Modal wood based fibres offer textiles a long-lasting quality of exquisite softness. Owing to the fibres sleek cross section, TENCEL™ Modal fibres enhance the soft touch of fabrics even after repeated washing.
Measurements and hand evaluations of softness show that TENCEL™ Modal fibres feel twice as soft as cotton. The softness of TENCEL™ Modal fibres last longer and is able to withstand repeated wash and dry cycles compared to cotton.
